Sultan Story & Synopsis
Sultan Ali Khan (Salman Khan), an ordinary technician who installs Dish Antennas, falls in love with a wrestler named Aarfa (Anushka Sharma). When Sultan Ali Khan proposes her, she points to his lack of dreams and rejects his proposal. Feeling slighted and with the determination to prove what he is worth, Sultan Ali Khan aspires to become a wrestler. Soon he begins to win bouts, when a tragic incident and separation from his beloved wife leaves him grieving. He quits wrestling and leads the life of an average man. Meanwhile, a businessman hunts for him, with the desire to contest him in a deadly international wrestling competition. Though totally unfit with a paunch, Sultan takes up the challenge, trains hard and returns as a wrestler. Whether Sultan wins the competition and reunites with his wife is narrated with some entertaining and engaging sequence of events.
