Here are a few (non-spoiler) pros and cons about IT Chapter 2 ???? It's a great companion piece to Chapter 1! It feels a little long at times (2 hrs & 49 mins) yet at the same time I swear there is an hour of this movie sitting around somewhere and I want to see it! The director said recently that he may do a 6.5 hour megacut of the films ???? It's funny, like really funny ???? The deaging used for the young losers made me squint constantly in bewilderment and took me out of the film more than onc ...

Definitely liked this film. However, upon arriving back home with only about an hour to digest what I just saw, I can't tell how disappointed I truly am, since I do believe the movie was good. Being a huge Stephen King fan, I read the novel (more than once). I realize that for length reasons, some things are going to be left out, considering the novel is more than a thousand pages long. I also know that there are scenes that are lifted from the final cut for the same reasons. That being said, ...

As good a job as anyone could've done. Those complaining about the running time have attention spans of a monkey. It has to be long to cover the source material. It's not flawless, and a little uneven in parts - but that's because the director has been let off his leash, and is having crazy carnival-style fun, it's all over the screen. When watched with the first film, this will be the Infinity War of horror films. A truly mindblowing accomplishment - I laughed, jumped, screamed, gasped, cringed ...

They did a great job with chapter two in my opinion. Many of the reviews are criticising the length of this conclusion, and it was long, but I enjoyed almost all of it. The ending has been improved over the 90's miniseries, and there are a few jokes in this version referring to people's dislike of the miniseries ending. The adult versions of the kids match up pretty well. I'm relatively easy to scare with loud noises and frightful imagery, so my nerves were a little frayed by the end, but in a g ...

******Potential Spoilers Ahead****** There are parts of this movie that are disturbing in a way you’d expect from a horror flick... However, the scene leading up to Pennywise’s return at the start of the film was UNNECESSARY to say the least. I read the book and was really hoping this part would be left out of the second chapter. I understand staying true to the source material for fans of the novel... actually, no, why would you want to keep this? So many other aspects of the original story wer ...

Just saw IT chapter 2 and i love it, the cast was good, Jumpscares, and an amazing ending theme although i did catch some flaws as the movie progressed I still saw suspense and excitement which is pretty hard when making a 3 hour long movie. The other thing is while seeing it(no pun intended) is that i loved that even though pennywise doesn't appear more than the first movie is how and what creature he's going to use and torment each character. As i know this is just my opinion and as we all know ...

5⭐ The kids are excellent actors and had great chemistry with their acting. I think it was a challenge for the adults to follow in the footsteps of such great kid actors. They did a great job with adult actor match. The kids' comedy and character development from part 1 and scenes from 2 really shined. More scares and gore this time around. Loved Pennywise...just so creepy. Changed ending from the book. We were warned about sucky endings, but this ending was great. Absolutely Well-Done ...

I've never laughed so hard in a horror flick. Like I mean genuinely laughing. The movie was hilarious. It was so inconsistent, pennywise was even funnier in the 2nd chapter. The characters were hilarious and provided a funny atmosphere. The whole movie people were just laughing, talking, consistent bathroom breaks and it was a full theater too. I loved the atmosphere in the theater because they understood how down right horrible this movie was. If you want a good laugh I'd highly recommend it, b ...

Insincere. The run time is arrogantly long, the source material does not constitute such a drawn out bore. On top of the recycled gimmicks a large amount of time is devoted to embellishing character development that occured in the first film, rendering it pretty useless. Whilst the horror timing was a bit off, the comedic timing was great, especially from Hader. The film doesn't do you the courtesy of thinking youre intelligent enough to understand it, and as such gives the horrible impression t ...

Long awaited, much to my surprise I found this film a hard one to call. Didn't love it. Didn't hate it. IT 2 was average. Actually, I was mildly disappointed, although I think it's such a challenging book to wrap up in 2 parts. Far from scary, it relied a lot ( too much for my taste) on cgi characters that often made it feel more like a campy, dark adventure/comedy flick than a horror film. Good casting and a few good laughs, along with great cinematography, were highlights to a film that felt s ...
