Half Ticket Story & Synopsis

Marathi film Half Ticket is the remake of the critically acclaimed and commercially successful Tamil film Kaaka Muttai (Crow Egg). Half Ticket is about two boys, who are forced to drop out of school due to poverty. Their father gets imprisoned and their mother works in a factory to raise money to get bail for their father. The two young boys also have to steal coal heaped near the railway tracks and sell them to earn money and give the same to their mother. During their pastimes, the two boys enjoy eating crow eggs in a nearby vacant land. But soon their joy gets killed, as a pizza shop owner buys the land and sets up a Pizza shop there. From there, the boys develop a desire to taste Pizza but cant raise enough money to buy one. So, they go on an interesting adventure to raise money and whether or not they get to taste their pizza is told through an interesting sequence of events.
