T. R. Ramachandran (c 1917 - 30 November 1990) was a Tamil actor and comedian who acted in lead or supportive roles, especially in comical parts, from the 1940s to the 1960s. Known for his distinctive saucer-eyes, Ramachandran was known as "The Eddie Cantor of India".

TRR was the only Comedian who starred as Hero with that time famous Heroines-Namely:Vyjayanthimala in Vaalkai,Padmini in Kathanaayaki and Savithri in Komathyin Kaathalan.I feel very much about him.

TR Ramachandran is one of my favourite comedian actors. He is a singer as well. I have watched PU Chinnappa movie Kannagi released in the year 1942 in which Ramachandran acted as a fraud. He became popular in the 1947 TR Mahalingam acted AVM movie "Naam Iruvar". His other comedian in the movie was TK Ramachanran. I still have the video tape of Naam Iruvar(Black and white) in good condition. I have seen almost all off TR Ramachanran movies. I just like this actor very much.
