எந்த ஒரு விஷயத்தையும் பாசிட்டிவாக நினைக்கும் ஒரு இளைஞன், அதேபோல் எந்தவொரு பாசிட்டிவான விஷயத்தையும் நெகட்டிவாகவே யோசனை செய்யும் ஒரு இளம்பெண். ரெண்டு பேருக்கும் காதல் வருகிறது. இந்த காதல் கடைசிவரை நிலைத்து நின்று கைகூடியதா? இல்லையா? என்பதுதான் ரோமியோ ஜூலியட் படத்தின் கதை.

இயக்குனர் லக்ஷமன் ஒரு நல்ல காதல் கதையை தமிழ் சினிமாவுக்கு கொடுத்திருக்கிறார். நீண்ட இடைவெளிக்கு பிறகு ஒரு அழகான காதல் கதையை திரையில் பார்த்த உணர்வு நமக்கு கிடைத்திருக்கிறது. வாழ்க்கையில் சந்தோஷம் நிலைத்து நிற்க பணம் தேவையில்லை. உண்மையான அன்புதான் தேவை என்பதை ஒவ்வொரு காதலருக்கும் புரிய வைத்திருக்கிறார்.

This is the second movie for Jayam Ravi and Hansika Motwani acting as a pair after Engeyum Kadhal.Other actors like Poonam Bajwa, Madhumitha, Vamsi Krishna, Uma Padmanaban, VTV Ganesh were also given some important roles in the movie. Actor Arya will be seen in a guest appearance in the movie.The positive points in the movie are Jayam Ravis Performance, the chemistry between the lead actors, awesome tunes given by D Imman..The movie team said that there was d chemistry worked out between Hansika and Jayam Ravi in the movie. The scenes in the movie will entertain those who love to watch romantic movies.

Romeo Juliet Technicalities

Imman scores big as the songs have played a major role in making Romeo Juliet enjoyable. His background score too is subtle and elevates certain scenes, without even being noticed. Adding value to the songs and other scenes is Soundar Rajans camera work. The pictures looks sleek and a rich texture enhances the overall feel of the movie. The cinematographer sure knows how to picturize a light-hearted rom-com. Dialogues are cliched, director Lakshman must focus on his dialogues and writing in his future endeavours, one might feel as they exit the cinema hall.

Audiences Review

Jayam Ravi acting in emotional scenes r good, Hansika looks gorgeous, superb costumes. A very enjoyable rom-com. If you liked ok ok then go for this. Have a feeling this will be a sure hit. 1st half - Sema response for Dandanakka song. But after that cliched, dramatic, predictable draggy. Hope 2nd half is fresh. Hansikas acting in dubbing in some scenes horrible n irritating. Romeo Juliet is a tried and Tested Romance Tale of love, conflict, separation, Realization, Friendship and the finally Union. 2nd half better compared to the 1st as there is a Tit For Tat game between the hero and heroine. But the ending is overdrama.
