This never happens not for a second in Chandra Sekhar Yeletis Namadhu.The lips move one way.The sounds that emanate from them are something else. And to add to the dissonance, there is the heavily Malayalam-accented Tamil that Mohanlal speaks. Why not give the great actor a bit of background to explain away this jarring note say, that the character hails from some part of Kerala and is now settled in Tamil Nadu.

Namadhu tells the story of four individuals who are in different walks of life. Mohanlal plays the role of a man (Sairam), who works in a supermarket, Viswant Duddumpudi will be seen doing the role of an IT professional (Abhiram), Raina Rao as a school girl (Mahitha) and Gautami as an independent single mom (Gayathri).The four characters do not have any connection but meets at some point. What happens next is the interesting part of the story

The scene between the school girl and a fake astrologer is the best example. There are also some emotional moments with good dialogues which may work well with the family audience. The absence of obscenity, larger than life elements like fights and violence deserves a positive mention.

Namadhu gives a feeling of watching a dubbed television serial more so in the first half. Only in the second half, towards the climax, there is some semblance of excitement and engagement. Out of the four different arcs, Mohanlals and Raina Raos are better. But the character of Raina Rao is too sugary for consumption.
