Sivakarthikeyan did his best in his role of a cop. It is common now a days in the south Indian film industry that cop roles are what bringing back our heroes into form. Though Sri Divya’s role is limited to a few scenes, they are the vital scenes for the movie. Nagineedu in the negative is promising as always. Kaaki Sattai a Comedy Element
We start feeling the run time of the film when it doesnt race to a convincing end. The director Durai has eyed a proper star vehicle for Sivakarthikeyan banking on the actors inherent comedic abilities while also giving him the push and required build-up as an action hero. Siva is earnest, dances very well, has the screen presence, puts in lot into the stunts and breezes through the comedy scenes as usual. Kaaki Sattai Stars Performances
Veteran actor Prabhu has done an interesting role and he excels in that particular character. Sri Divya appears through out the first half but sadly disappears in the second. Sivakarthikeyan as an actor has come a long way and deserves a special mention. His acting in Kaaki Sattai is refined and he manages to keep his emotions as subtle as possible which works brilliantly in this yet another cop story.
