Ajay Gnanamuthu has done a great job with writing, both story and screenplay. Though he takes time in establishing characters, things speed up once they enter the haunted bungalow.
Aravind Singhs cinematography is phenomenal. All the scenes are well shot with good color tone, angles and light. The aerial shot in housing board colony and the way single room is captured in heros house with vivid lighting are absolutely brilliant.

A Gripping Horror
The movies soul is rightly placed in the second half, without much fuss the screenplay revolves just around the lead cast and their gut wrenching fear. Demonte a wealthy Portuguese businessman who invites all the goldsmiths in the country to make a royal chain to his wife. But his wife becomes mentally ill and retarded and when Demonte realizes that someone in the mansion has made her pregnant, he goes on a killing spree. There is an eerie history that whoever visits the bungalow is murdered in a mysterious fashion.

The screenplay and writing is pretty neat and has the audiences attention right through. The unexpected twists shake you up and Ajay keeps us shocked on a regular interval. There is a lot of intelligence revealed in the writing. In the guise of bowing down to commercial elements, the team has not taken a detour and has mostly adhered to the main line.
