C.V.Sridhar was a great director in those days. While the cinema industry was dominated by MGR and Sivaji, he delivered successful films with other middle order heroes and heroines. His selection of songs and tunes were very attractive and enjoyable. His stories especially triangular love not only innovative but so sentiment. In a nutshell his films are alive and enjoyable even today. He was a legend in film industry followed and admired by Directors like Barathiraja. Let us remember his contributions for our happiness.

One of the best Screen play writer and Director. The first film under his direction " KALYANAPARISU" was a great "HIT", the reason being the combination of melodious Music by A.M.Raja. Had the duo continued to work together, they would have given still better films. Most unfortunate for A.M.Raja, for parting away from Sridar.

Yes, Sridhar was an undoubted pioneer , full of creative genius. Any innovation - has afterall been done by Sridhar already. Look at the number of people whom he had elevated to stardom by his 'midas touch'. To me he was the first Tamil film director to establish the culture of succinct visual treatment in place of long-winding nerve0breaking dialogue. He was the one to prove the value of technical crew to a movie. He was wholesome to say the least. He is a legend in his own right.

Sridhar's name in directorial venture is number one and all other directors are just followers of sridhar . His triangular love stories were very much popular in those days and for the name SRIDHAR , he had an excellent reception for all his movies. Both centre and state Govts did not give due recognition for C V Sridhar - I have great respect for him

I am a ardent admirer of CV Sridhar(I am a kannadiga)I saw all his directed films but Kadalikka Neramillai I saw this movie 160 times in Minerva theater in Bangalore,this is the only film which celebrated silver jubilee in three theaters Minerva-Laxmi and Swastik,I am sure no one in Tamil film industry can bring out such a comedy and musical film.Hats off MSV Ramamurthy.

Director Sridhar was a true legend. All his movies can be enjoyed even now without boring. He was a real creator, it is unfortunate that our Tamil world did not give due respect or recognisation.

In those days Sridhar was a great hero behind the screen. Everyone could enjoy his hard work through his sincere performance in especially Tamil Films. His nature of story treatment in social, serious, comedy, light movies are still shines. He never failed in songs and its picturisation. Whoever were introduced by him have became a great stars. I love this great movie entertainer even now.
