Biography - Mirchi Siva

Shiva is an Indian actor and Radio Jockey with Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM. He has acted in Tamil films. He was first seen on screen in a cameo role in the Tamil movie 12B. His debut as a leading actor was in the movie Chennai 600028 directed by Venkat Prabhu. The movie was a trend setter for the light hearted approach and freshness of the script. The movie was successful at box-office too. Shiva in the role of Karthik was very well received, especially for the scene where he practices wooing the heroine with hilarious consequences. His role in the hit film Saroja has also been appreciated. He has finalized a project named 16, a Tamil film under Passion Movie Makers banner which will be directed by Sabhapathi and will have music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The shooting will begin on September 16 2008 after a pooja and is slated for a January 2009 release. The movie is said to be refreshing and light-hearted romantic story about college love and also revolves around father-son relationship. |
